Tamir Gilat, Chairman of Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF)
Tamir Gilat, 55 years old, is a lawyer and a businessman.
Degree in law from The Tel Aviv University and an EMBA from the Kellogg Management School – North Western University.
Former professional football player (Goalie for Maccabi Tel Aviv).
Tamir, father to 3 Daughters, lost his wife six months ago, attorney Keren Nahari, who passed away from breast cancer.
In 2011, Tamir was diagnosed with two types of cancer.
Since then Tamir is devoting his life, voluntarily, to enlarge public awareness to the importance of supporting cancer research in
Israel and to raise money to support the Israeli cancer research.
Tamir also dedicates his time to consult and support Cancer patients and their families in their struggle.
Tamir is the Chairman of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) and also the deputy chairman of the Israel Football Association.
